Motor Control Warehouse is one of the UK's leading independent suppliers of motor control equipment, variable speed drives, soft starters and control panel solutions. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic and technically minded Sales Engineer to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving technical problems and helping customers find the right solution. Whether you're already experienced in motor control or have a strong electrical engineering background with a passion for sales, we'd like to hear from you.

The Role

As a Sales Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing new business while maintaining excellent relationships with our existing customer base. You'll work closely with customers across a wide range of industries, providing technical advice and preparing quotations for motor control solutions.

About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, customer-focused and enjoys both the technical and commercial aspects of engineering.

Requirements

• A background in electrical engineering or industrial automation.
• Experience in technical sales or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Knowledge of variable speed drives, motors, control gear or industrial electrical systems preferred, but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• A full UK driving licence.
