The QCX2 enclosed Direct On Line (DOL) starter provides a simple, reliable, and cost-effective method of starting and protecting three-phase electric motors.

A Direct On Line (DOL) starter starts the motor by applying full line voltage immediately when the start button is pressed. This provides simple, reliable motor starting and high starting torque, making DOL starters suitable for many pumps, fans, compressors and general industrial applications.

The QCX2 range is housed in a durable IP42-rated hard plastic, double-insulated enclosure and includes integrated start and stop push buttons for easy operation. An adjustable thermal overload relay protects the motor from damage caused by overload conditions, helping to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

Suitable for 400V three-phase motors with a full load current between 7-10A.

DOL Trip Class

MCW DOL starters are fitted with a Class 10 thermal overload relay as standard, making them suitable for most light and medium-duty industrial applications.

Applications with heavy starting loads, high inertia loads or extended start-up times may require a different overload trip class.
